Fished streamers - black woolly, grey ghost, and edson tiger all morning and had a number of savage hits.  The fish know that the fall is here and they feed with ferosity every autumn.  The fishing is truely outstanding in the White Clay Creek in the DH zone right now.

The water temp was 62 degrees but the air temp was 50 this morning on the White Clay Creek a Delaware River in the PA section of the DH.  I was glad to have been wearing my fleece this morning. I fished above my favorite section of the creek and was able to catch two rainbows and a brown trout (above the London Tract Bridge).  I saw a number of fish in the pool below the chute that were not as cooperative.  Looks like fishing the clay will continue to be productive as the fish are still spread out throughout the preserve.

The White Clay Creek in the PA preserve continues to fish well into this fall season.  Rainbow and brown trout, fall fish and small mouth bass are all being caught in the delayed harvest section of the creek.  The trout were fooled with PT nymphs size 18 and white shenk minnow today.  The smallmouth all fell for a golden retriever sz 12 jigged on the retrieve.

Spent the last week fishing the low country of SC around the Hilton Head area for redfish.  The fish were mostly cooperative and I was able to catch fish in the 6-15 lb class on a number of flies.  Clousers in olive over white with copper flash were very productive as was my own one-eyed nothing crab/ shrimp inmitation.  I was able to find wading access in the marsh and along the beach from the SeaPines Plantation.
